William Balfour, the man accused of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew, has been found guilty.
The verdict was announced just moments ago in a Chicago courtroom, reports TMZ. After two days of deliberations, a jury convicted Balfour in the 2008 triple murder case.
Jennifer Hudson was present in court as the verdict was read.
Balfour faces life in prison.

Khloe and Lamar — the show, not the couple — is over.
Although the Kardashian family just re-upped with the E! network for three more years of reality programming, the spin-off starring Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, will not shoot a third season.
“Khloe has pulled the plug,” a source close to Kardashian, 27, tells Us Weekly.
It’s been a tumultuous several months for the pair. Earlier this this month, NBA star Odom, 32, parted ways the the Dallas Mavericks just four months after being traded to the team from the L.A. Lakers.
Back from Dallas, the spouses of two and a half years “have decided he should train all off season,” the insider says. “And she’s exhausted from filming!”
On their agenda? A long, long-delayed honeymoon! (The duo wed in September 2009.)
“They just want to go on their honeymoon and take a breather,” the insider says.
But reality fans have definitely not seen the last of the twosome. In addition to appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians (season seven premieres May 20), “Khloe will do another spinoff with either Kim or Kourtney,” the insider explains of big sisters Kim, 31, and Kourtney, 33.

Dick Clark Dies at 82

Dick Clark, the media personality whose reach extended from game shows and radio to the yearly New Year’s Rockin’ Eve celebration, has died. He was 82.
The famed TV producer died from a massive heart attack Wednesday morning (April 18).
Dick “had entered St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica last night for an outpatient procedure. Attempts to resuscitate were unsuccessful. He is survived by his wife Kari and his three children, RAC, Duane, and Cindy,” his family said in a statement (via THR).
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dick’s friends and family during this difficult time.

“She Said Yes!!!” Wiz wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday (March 1), adding a photo of a huge rock on Amber‘s ring finger.

Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together in more ways than one.
On Rihanna’s 24th birthday Monday, the singer released a full-length version of her song “Birthday Cake” (from the album Talk That Talk) featuring new verses by her abusive ex Brown, 23.
“Girl I wanna f-ck you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body,” Brown sings on the remix. “Lemme, lemme turn the lights down. When I, when I go down it’s a private party.”
Brown also tweeted a link to the new version of his song “Turn Up the Music,” which featured additional music by Rihanna; the “We Found Love” singer later retweeted it.
Brown assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna just before the Grammy Awards in 2009. He later pleaded guilty to felony charge and was sentenced to five years probation.
Although Brown is currently dating aspiring model Karrueche Tran, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly that he and Rihanna have been secretly hooking up over the past year.
“Rihanna loves to live dangerously,” says a Rihanna pal. “Talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that.”

Three years after Chris Brown infamously assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna (real name Robyn Fenty), the Grammy winner continues to fuel hookup rumors, publicly reaching out to her via Twitter.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!” Brown, 23, tweeted early Monday — the day the “We Found Love” singer turned 24.
Hours later Rihanna responded: “Thanks!”
Although Brown is currently dating aspiring model, Karrueche Tran, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly that he and Rihanna have been secretly hooking up over the past year.
“Rihanna loves to live dangerously,” says a pal of the Barbados beauty. “Talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that.”
A rep for Brown insists to Us: “He and Rihanna are just friends.”

Whitney Houston was laid to rest on Sunday (February 19) in a private ceremony held in Westfield, New Jersey.
The singer was buried next to her father, who died in 2003, according to the Associated Press.
Fans reportedly gathered near the funeral home in the morning and some “even slowly ran alongside the hearse as it began the journey to [her] gravesite.”
On Saturday, close friends and family gathered for Whitney‘s invitation-only funeral held at the Newark church where she used to sing as a child.
Whitney died February 11 in Beverly Hills, Calif., at the age of 48.

Welcome Back Kotter star Robert Hegyes died from an apparent heart attack Thursday morning, The Star-Ledger reports. He was 60.
The actor’s brother Mark explained that he’d suffered a heart attack several years ago and was not in good health. Hegyes was once again experiencing chest pains Thursday morning. A call for medical assistance was placed from Hegyes’ home at 9:02 a.m. The actor was then taken to JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
By the time he reached the emergency room at 9:40 a.m., Hegyes was in full cardiac arrest and died, hospital spokesman Steven Weiss tells The Star-Ledger.
Hegyes played a Jewish Puerto Rican student opposite John Travolta on Welcome Back Kotter. His other acting credits include Cagney and Lacey NewsRadio, Diagnosis Murder and The Drew Carey Show.
The actor is survived by three siblings, two children, Cassie and Mack, and two step-children, Sophia and Alex.

After 14 months of marriage, Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry.
In papers filed in Los Angeles and obtained by TMZ.com, Brand, 36, reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences.”
The British comic’s filing comes on the heels of a massive spat with Perry, 27, over the Christmas holiday, sparked over a difference in opinion as to how the duo should spend their vacation.
After planning to whisk her family via private jet to Brand’s London hometown for the holidays, Perry changed course, opting to fly to Hawaii with friends.
“She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too,’” an insider tells the new issue of Us Weekly.
In the days since, Brand was spotted out and about in London without his wedding ring.
The pair wed in October 2010 in a lavish six-day ceremony in India.

Case closed — almost.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has revealed why rapper Heavy D. died suddenly at age 44 on Nov. 8.
According to preliminary results from an autopsy performed on the “Now That We Found Love” rapper, the star (real name: Dwight Myers) was the victim of a fatal pulmonary embolism.
As cited on E! News, the hip hop icon suffered a deep vein thrombosis, in which a blood clot in the leg moves to the lung and blocks a main artery. Shortly before his untimely passing, Heavy D is said to have visited the doctor to complain of a persistent cough; his final performance was at a Michael Jackson tribute show Oct. 8 in Cardiff, Wales.
The beloved performer also suffered from heart disease and thickened artery walls due to high cholesterol.
Heavy D’s death was ruled as “natural,” the report added, with prescription drugs playing no role. Final autopsy results are expected in about two weeks.
