The Avengers has once again reigned supreme at the weekend box office!
Bringing in an estimated $55.1 million dollars this weekend, the superhero flick took the top slot for the third week in a row. Domestically, the film has grossed $457.1 million. Globally, the flick has brought in $1.18 billion, making it the number four movie of all time, according to THR. Wow!!
Alexander Skarsgard and Rihanna‘s flick Battleship took the number two spot with $25.3 million this weekend. Sacha Baron Cohen‘s The Dictator came in at number three with $17.4 million.
Rounding out the top five was Johnny Depp‘s Dark Shadows and Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz‘s What to Expect When You’re Expecting, grossing $12.8 million and $10.5 million, respectively.

Michael Ealy‘s romantic comedy Think Like A Man kept its box office spot for the second weekend in a row, bringing in $18 million.
Second place went to The Pirates! Band of Misfits, an animated movie featuring Hugh Grant and Salma Hayek. The children’s flick earned $11.4 million this weekend.
Third place went to Zac Efron‘s The Lucky One, which took in $11.3 million, followed by The Hunger Games, which brought in $11.2 million this weekend.
Fifth place went to Jason Segel and Emily Blunt‘s romantic comedy The Five-Year Engagement. The movie brought in $11.1 million in its opening weekend.

The Hunger Games has slipped from its number one spot!
This weekend, Think Like a Man, a comedy featuring Michael Ealy, took in $33 million, earning the top box office spot.
Second place went to Zac Efron‘s romantic drama The Lucky One, which earned $22.8 million in its opening weekend.
The Hunger Games took in $14.5 million this weekend, earning third place. Fourth place went to the Disney documentary Chimpanzee, which earned $10.2 million.
Fifth place went to The Three Stooges, a reboot of the classic comedy series featuring Sean Hayes, Will Sasso, and Chris Diamantopoulos.

The Hunger Games has topped the box office for the fourth weekend in a row!
Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson‘s smash hit earned $21.5 million this weekend, bringing its domestic total to a whopping $337.1 million after 24 days, according to EW. Worldwide, The Hunger Games has brought in $531 million!
Sean Hayes, Will Sasso, and Chris Diamantopoulos‘ film The Three Stooges came it at number two, earning $17.1 million.
The Cabin in the Woods, the horror flick starring Chris Hemsworth and Jesse Williams, came in at number three bringing in $14.9 million for its weekend total.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet‘s Titanic 3D re-release placed in fourth with $11.6 million, with American Reunion, a sequel in the American Pie series, rounding out the top five with $10.7 million.

Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson‘s smash hit The Hunger Games took the top spot over the weekend at the box office again, bringing in $61.1 million.
Second place went to Wrath of the Titans, which premiered this weekend. The action-adventure film starring Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson brought in $34.2 million.
Lily Collins, Armie Hammer, and Julia Roberts‘ Mirror Mirror came in third place, earning $19 million in its opening weekend.
Fourth place went to Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill‘s comedy 21 Jump Street, which earned $15 million. 5th place went to the animated feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, which brought in $8 million this weekend.

The action-adventure thriller Act of Valor topped the box office in its first weekend, earning $27.4 million. The movie tells the story of a team of Navy SEALs who embark on a covert mission to recover a kidnapped CIA agent.
Tyler Perry‘s romantic comedy Good Deeds came in second this weekend, earning $16 million.
Last week’s topper Safe House took in $11.4 million this week and slipped to fourth behind Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, which earned $13.5 million.

The Denzel Washington-Ryan Reynolds starrer Safe House topped the box office in its second weekend, earning another $24 million.
The thriller is expected to finish the four-day President’s Day holiday weekend with $28.5 million.
The Channing Tatum-Rachel McAdams romantic comedy The Vow raked in another $23.4 million while Nicolas Cage‘s fiery Ghost Rider sequel opens No. 3 with $22 million.
This Means War, starring Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy, and Chris Pine, opened No. 5 with $17.6 million.

Second place went to Daniel Radcliffe‘s The Woman in Black, which just missed first place with $21 million, Variety reports.
Liam Neeson‘s The Grey, which took first place last weekend, slipped to third place with $9.5 million but still maintained a strong presence.
Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski‘s Big Miracle took fourth, with $8.5 million.
Kate Beckinsale‘s Underworld: Awakening took fifth place, edging out One for the Money.
