“It was December 24th on Hollis Ave in the dark/When I seen a man chilling with his dog in the park”
The song for the Sample Saturdays Part Two is “Back Door Santa” by Clarence Carter. It’s from the 1968 compilation album “Soul Christmas”. I first heard this in the 1996 movie “Jingle All The Way”. I could remember this song was sampled in a rap song.
It was sampled by Run-DMC for their classic 1986 X-Mas hip-hop hit “Christmas In Hollis”
So open your eyes, lend us an ear/We want to say “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”. RIP Jam Master Jay

“What you know about champagne every night/Bad b****es everywhere, Barry White/Hit the things, I could bury white/Countin’ up a million dollars every night/Hit the mall blow a four way/Kinda hard when you’re sleeping on Dolce/Wake up drinkin’ Rose/Killin’ that white b****, OJ”
The song for the Sample Saturdays of this month is “Banka” by Japanese actress/singer Meiko Kaji. It’s from 2004 album Zenkyou Shu.
This song was sampled by Young Jeezy for his song called “OJ” which features Fabolous & Jadakiss.
The guys from RapRadar posted the wrong sample of their Break section. I look at the liner notes of Jeezy’s new album TM103: Hustlerz Ambition and it says “Contains a interpolation of “Shura No Hana”. “OJ” contains a sample of “Banka” It was produced by Lil Lody.
I’m the smartest brother who knows the original samples.
