Drake can have just about any woman he wants, but on his new song “Marvin’s Room,” the Young Money rep has his eye on another man’s squeeze.
It’s unclear whether the track, released on Thursday (June 9), will appear on Drake’s upcoming Take Care, but in the post accompanying the song on his October’s Very Own blog, Drizzy writes, “Another piece of the story. Single coming in July. Take Care coming Oct. 24th.” The “another piece of the story” in Drake’s message likely refers to a May 20 post in which he dropped “Dreams Money Can Buy.” The Toronto MC wrote of “Dreams,” “Not my single. Just a piece of my story.” But for fans eagerly awaiting his sophomore album, the announcement that it will drop on the 24th of October required no deciphering.
“Marvin’s Room” opens with a phone conversation between a young lady and an unheard party. The young lady explains that she went out to a couple of clubs, came home and then “went to bed.” The story begins to unfold with Drake’s opening lyrics: “Cups of the rosé, bitches in my old phone/ I should call one and go home/ I’ve been in this club too long.”
Drizzy goes on singing about how the object of his affection is happy in a committed relationship before he drops the telling hook: “F— that n—a that you love so bad/ I know you still think about the times we had.”
The track’s slow thump and pounding kick drum is reminiscent of Drake’s previous R&B ventures like “Shut It Down,” from last year’s Thank Me Later, and his Internet leak “I Get Lonely Too.” “I think I’m addicted to naked pictures/ And sittin’ talkin’ about bitches that we almost had/ I don’t think I’m conscious of making monsters out of the women I sponsored, until it all goes bad,” he raps.
As fans eagerly await the release of Take Care, details remain scarce. One thing is certain, though: When Drake is around, you may want to watch your girlfriend.
Flo Rida was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami Beach for a DUI and for driving with a suspended license.
Police pulled over the rapper (real name: Tramar Dillard) around 3:30 a.m. after they noticed him driving erratically in his red and black 2008 Bugatti (valued around $1.7 million).
When police tried to conduct a field sobriety test, the “Low” rapper told them, “I can’t do this. I don’t think I can walk a straight line. I had a few drinks. Let’s do another test. I live on the other side of the bridge. I can make it home.”
Flo Rida was then arrested and taken to the Miami Beach Police Department for processing; he was later booked into the Miami Dade Correctional Department. Officers tell TMZ that the 31-year-old’s blood alcohol level was a staggering .185, more than twice the legal limit.
Police also discovered that the rapper’s license was suspended on May 3 for failing to pay a traffic fine after he was notified to do so by April 13.
Oprah Winfrey sure signed off her talk show with a bang.
According to a new Nielsen report released Wednesday, Winfrey’s May 25 send-off drew lots of tears — and big ratings. More than 16 million viewers tuned in to see Winfrey reflect on her career as the finale’s only guest.
Nearly triple The Oprah Winfrey Show’s normal ratings, the May 25 episode — billed as a “special” by Nielsen — was her highest-rated installment since 1993′s “Why I Love Older Women” show, watched by 17.3 million viewers.
“Gratitude is the single greatest treasure I will take with me from this experience,” Winfrey said, closing her May 25 broadcast surrounded by her staff and her beloved cocker spaniel, Sadie. “I thank you for sharing this yellow brick road of blessings. I won’t say goodbye — I’ll just say, ‘Until we meet again.’”
The Oprah Winfrey Show wrapped its 25-year run as the No. 1 talk show for the 630th week in a row.

MTV has cancelled its racy teen drama Skins.
The show premiered in January to 3.3 million viewers, but lost half of its viewership by the second episode, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The controversial, sexually-explicit show was based on the United Kingdom’s version of the show that premiered in 2007.
“Skins is a global television phenomenon that, unfortunately, didn’t connect with a U.S. audience as much as we had hoped,” an MTV rep said in a statement. “We admire the work that the series’ creator Bryan Elsley did in adapting the show for MTV, and appreciate the core audience that embraced it.”
Report: Model-Actress Estella Warren Charged with DUI, Assault, Escape – Celebrity News – UsMagazine.com
Not exactly model behavior.
Model-actress Estella Warren was formally charged with a DUI, hit-and-run driving, assault on a police officer and resisting an arrest on Thursday, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
On May 23, the 32-year-old Planet of the Apes star slammed her Toyota Prius into three parked cars just before midnight. She resisted — and even kicked — the police officer who arrested her.
Then, while being booked at the police station, Warren wiggled out of her handcuffs and attempted to escape, only to be recaptured.
According to TMZ, the charges filed against Warren are misdemeanors. If convicted on all four charges, however, she faces a total of 2.5 years in jail. She’s due back in court next week.
This is my favorite from Last Train To Paris album. I’m feeling this joint right there.
Kat Graham from The Vampire Diaries is in this video.
“School’s out for summer/School’s out forever/School’s been blown to pieces/No more pencils/No more books/No more teacher’s dirty books/Out for summer/Out ’til fall/We might not go back at all/School’s out forever/School’s out for summer/School’s out with fever/School’s out completely”
I really love this song. It’s actually the most best rock & roll song ever to play it when the school is over I always sing this song.
The song was heard in movies, commercial, tv shows and more. I love Alice Cooper. Shout out to Alice Cooper.
This song is known as the Last Day Of The School anthem.
This song is going to be the biggest remix of the effing summer. The song is off the Big K.R.I.T. latest mixtape “Return Of4evea”
“I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller/I wish I had a girl who looked good I would call her/I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat and a six four Impala” “Hey, you, what’s that sound?/Everybody looks what’s going down/Ahhhh, yes, ain’t that fresh/Everybodo wants to get down like that”
I used to sing this song back I was little. I got my wish I’m taller now. Best song of all time.
The sample of this song is Bernard Wright song called “Spinnin”.
The original version is way better than Secret Handshake’s version.
